There Are a Million Ways to Say Thank You!

Originally uploaded by B a r ش a

Well, swappers, we did it. The swap is complete. Everyone has mailed their quilts and everyone should be receiving packages (if they haven't already). Thank you all so much for taking time to make a wonderful surprise for your partner and for participating in our first ever swap.

Once you receive your quilt, make sure you email or write to your partner to thank them! Many swappers are emailing me because they haven't heard a peep from their secret partners. If you don't know how to contact your partner, just email me and I'll give you their email address. Or, look on the package they sent and send a card to the return address. Just thank them somehow!

Deadlines!

Originally uploaded by Jennifer Can Quilt

Hey, swappers. Just here to remind you that your deadline to mail is Tuesday, June 15, 2010.

There are still tons of swappers that I haven't heard anything from. Please remember that you are expected to notify me when you have sent and received your swap quilts.

Participants who don't keep me updated and fail to meet swap requirements will be blacklisted! Don't be that deadbeat.

Country Corners

MT Swap

I don't know about you but this asymmetrical quilt is totally hitting the spot today. And those sweet Nicey Jane blues, greens and yellows? So refreshing!

Annalia used the "country corners" block which is sort of like the "lady in the lake" block but better, in my opinion. I especially love the four patch in the center.

Oh, and that quilting? You know I love that too!

Modify Tradition Swap Quilt

Look what Sandi made for Karrie!

These bright, bold colors and layout really remind me of Bauhaus design. Not to mention I am so jealous of all those flying geese.

By the way, Sandi hand-delivered her quilt! It turns out that Sandi and Kerri live rather close together, and so they decided to meet up and became fast friends. Does that make me a friend matchmaker?

Fantastic job, Sara!

Also, today is the deadline for any international swappers...remember to email Jennifer once you send them out.

Only a week left for non-international swappers...please have them ready to send out by June 15th.

I just wanted to thank you all again for participating in our swap. I'm having such a great time seeing what you come up with. Jennifer and I will continue posting swap quilts here...we're a little but that's great. It means you're quilting too fast for us to keep up. More soon...
